Maikel has over 7 years of experience in the field of customs and excise duties on a national and international level. Within Deloitte’s Global Trade Advisory practice, he has a main focus on the Energy & Resources industry.
Maikel has led projects covering a broad scope of customs and excise related matters, such as tariff classification, customs valuation, origin determination, applying for customs and excise licenses, conflict resolution and litigation, drafting procedures and internal controls, etc.
