NEW YORK, NY, USA, 13 October 2022 — Great Place to Work® and Fortune magazine today recognised Deloitte as one of the World’s Best Workplaces™ in 2022, ranking #7 on this year’s list. The announcement comes as Deloitte was also recognised on Best Workplaces in Europe™ 2022 (#15) and Best Workplaces in Latin America™ 2022 (#7), as well as 18 other national Best Workplaces™ lists.
“We are very proud to be ranked as one of the World’s Best Workplaces, a recognition of Deloitte’s commitment to enabling our people to thrive professionally and personally,” says Michele Parmelee, Deloitte Global Deputy CEO and Chief People and Purpose Officer. “Delivering meaningful impact for Deloitte’s clients and communities begins with our people reaching their full potential. We enable this by offering fulfilling development opportunities in an inclusive, collaborative environment that emphasises the importance of wellbeing.”
Great Place to Work® found that the organisations on the Fortune World’s Best Workplaces™ list stood out for creating globally exceptional employee experiences, high-trust relationships, and workplaces that are fair and equal for all. Organisations on the list were selected from those that had participated in Great Place to Work’s employee survey process, representing the voices of 14.8 million employees worldwide. The views of Deloitte professionals from 35 countries contributed to Deloitte’s #7 ranking.
In addition to Deloitte firms placing on 18 national Best Workplaces™ lists in countries such as India (#58), the Netherlands (#7), Nigeria (#3), Paraguay (#2), the UK (#14), the US (#24), and Vietnam (#8), Deloitte placed on 17 additional special category lists, including: Best Workplaces™ for Women in five countries; Best Workplaces™ in Consulting & Professional Services in four countries; a Best Workplaces™ for Working Parents list; a Best Workplaces™ for Millennials List; and a Best Workplaces™ for Well-being list. These accolades build on Deloitte’s prior Great Place to Work® achievements, previously ranking #22 on World’s Best Workplaces™ in 2020.
“Purpose-driven organisations play a valuable role in the marketplace and society—especially during periods of uncertainty,” Parmelee says. “As the world continues to rapidly evolve, Deloitte recognises the benefit of aligning with the values of our current and future professionals so they can lead with purpose, develop their careers, and succeed in an equitable and inclusive work environment.”
