Maria João (MJ) is a Manager in the Commercial Strategy team, where she supports clients developing commercialisation, go to market and organisational strategies. She has extensive experience in research and analytics in Life Sciences, with a strong grasp of the market and trends. MJ joined Deloitte UK in October 2019, where she worked Centre for Health Solutions, the independent hub of the Healthcare and Life Sciences team, leading the research and insights efforts around trends, challenges and opportunities to support our life sciences practice. She holds a PhD in Bioengineering (Cell Therapies and Regenerative Medicine) and has a solid understanding of next gen therapeutics, including cell and gene therapies, and precision medicine.
