Gerda Brand

Gerda has over 24 years Namibian tax experience, is a Tax Director and leads the Tax Business Unit of Deloitte in Namibia. Gerda specialises in all forms of taxation (corporate tax, VAT, PAYE, expat taxes, withholding taxes, transfer pricing) and consults to a portfolio of corporates, listed and medium sized clients, on a wide range of tax issues. Gerda is a member of the Law Society of Namibia, the Bankers Association’s VAT committee and the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAN) Tax Committee. She is also the editor of Deloitte Tax Newsletter and Quick Tax Guide.

Never Muleya (Income Tax)

Never is a qualified Chartered Accountant registered with ICAN.  Never completed his articles auditing in 2016 and joined the Tax department in early 2017. Never is currently a Tax Manager providing tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of clients. He has experience in both direct and indirect taxes across various industries.

Lahya Shapwa (Value Added Tax)

Lahya has over 7 years’ experience in taxation specialising in all types of taxes. Lahya has great exposure in Namibian tax across all types of industries ranging from small to large scale clients across the board.

Tabitha Mugandiwa (Withholding Tax)

Tabitha recently joined the Deloitte office, with close to 10 years experience in Namibian tax Tabitha is currently a Tax Manager providing tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of clients She has experience in both direct and indirect taxes across various industries
