Katrina Emvula, Risk Advisory Manager

Katrina's journey with Deloitte started in 2011, when she  was hired to be a Help desk support technician. After 3 years of being a support technician, she developed an interest in IT auditing and was offered a position of a junior IT audit consultant. After doing IT audit work. Katrina currently holds a position for an IT audit manager at Deloitte and still loving her job. 

She is a technology advisor from an auditing perspective, and they look at the controls defined in the systems for any loop holes and whether the system are operating the way they were designed to operate. Katrina gives advisory solutions, learns every single day, and is becoming an expert at what she does.

Being in a role where she is able to pass-on her knowledge gives Katrina fulfilment.  It makes her happy to know that she is teaching others a thing or two, and it gives her greater joy to give good examples to the young, which motivates Kartina to do better all the time.

“In an ideal world” Katrina tends to use this phrase more often when explaining or giving examples.
