Simon Cooper

Partner with 19+ years of experience as a Consultant and Public Servant delivering customer strategy, digital design and service transformation. Simon is the National Central Government Sector Leader and sits on Deloitte’s Government Executive Leadership Team. He is passionate about making it easier for citizens and businesses to interact with public services. His experience includes working with 60+ government agencies around the world focused on the Queensland, New South Wales, Federal and the UK Governments.  

Simon regularly writes on transformation in government including for Deloitte’s Global Center for Government Insights, national media and he co-authored the book, ‘Are we there yet? The Digital Transformation of Government in Australia’ (2019).  

Qualifications include an Executive MBA, Executive Certificate in Public Policy from Harvard's Kennedy School, various project management and technology qualifications and is an elected Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia.
