On 14 June 2023, the Official Gazette of the State of Qatar published Decree No. (13) of 2023, issued by the Ministry of Finance, amending the fee structure for customs services provided by the General Authority of Customs (GAC). These changes took effect on 19 May 2023.
Article (1) of the resolution states that the fees for customs services provided by the GAC will be determined according to the guidelines specified in this decision. The fees for imported, exported, or transiting goods:
The fee structure for various categories of goods passing through customs offices is defined in Article (2) of the resolution. The fees are as follows:
Article (4) of the resolution approves the fees associated with various customs services, documents, and licenses.

The fee structure for these charges was last published in 2017 under the Ministry of Finance Decree No. (9). The recent changes to the fee structure, which include an increase in fees and slightly different calculation methodologies, suggest that the GAC in Qatar is indeed revising its customs-related revenue collection avenues.
