Resumption of Commercial Visit Visas for Pakistani Nationals

23 September 2025 – The State of Kuwait has reinstated the issuance of Commercial Visit Visas for Pakistani nationals, which had been previously suspended. This visa allows for a single entry and is valid for up to 30 days. It is intended for business purposes such as attending meetings, seminars, and conferences, engaging with clients, and participating in contract negotiations. The visa can be acquired upon request from a company registered in Kuwait.

Deloitte’s view

The resumption of Commercial Visit Visas for Pakistani nationals is a significant development that will facilitate greater business exchanges and cooperation with Kuwaiti entities. This change opens opportunities for our clients in Pakistan to re-engage with their Kuwaiti counterparts, fostering improved business relations and collaboration. Clients planning business-related travel to Kuwait should assess their travel plans and ensure compliance with visa requirements to take full advantage of this development.
