The Ministry of Interior (MOI) in Pakistan has recently implemented a new visa policy aimed at promoting tourism and attracting foreign investment. Under this new policy, nationals of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries—namely Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates—are now eligible for a visa-on-arrival in Pakistan. This visa is valid for three months and can be renewed.
Moreover, the visa application process has been streamlined for travelers from an additional 126 countries. These individuals can now obtain a 90-day visa, free of charge, for either tourism or business purposes. Notably, no application fees are required under this new policy.
