I.   ELIGIBILITY

Q. What is Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 program?

Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 ranks the region's fastest-growing technology companies, based on revenue growth over the last four years. This program is for companies that have developed a technology-related product and celebrates innovation and entrepreneurship.

Applications are open to public and private companies, large and small, in all areas of technology, from software to life sciences, hardware to clean technology and media to communication.

Q. How many years has the Fast 50 been running?

Fast 50 was launched in the US in 1995 and is being run across several geographies including but not limited to UK, Belgium, Netherlands, Canada and others.

The Technology Fast 50 program came to the Middle East in 2021.

Q. What industry category must a company be classified in to enter the Fast 50?

Software

Q. Do all entrants have to be publicly held?

No, but private companies must provide financial information and supporting documentation such as financial statements.

II. WINNERS' ASSESSMENT & REPORTING

Q. How is the Fast 50 ranking and revenue growth calculated?

Award winners are determined based on the fiscal year percentage revenue growth over a defined period. Because the program ranks companies based on fiscal year revenues, it is an indication of past growth. It does not take into account current performance or profitability.

For the 2023 edition, companies are ranked based on fiscal year revenue growth from 2019 to 2022. The percentage revenue growth is calculated by subtracting the year one revenue from the year four revenue, divided by the year one revenue.

Q. Are revenues published?

No. The Fast 50 program will disclose percentage revenue growth but will not disclose current and base-year revenue amounts. Participants will be required to provide revenue proof to Deloitte.
