Three half-day workshop training Dubai, United Arab Emirates
We would like to invite you to attend our OECD Pillar II/GloBE tax accounting workshops taking place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from 24 to 26 January 2023.
During this three half-day workshop event, our team of tax accounting and Pillar II experts will provide an interactive training which will cover the basics of tax accounting and key considerations of Pillar II. Please note that the number of attendees will be limited to ensure an interactive learning experience.
The workshop series is intended for tax professionals that do not have an advanced tax accounting knowledge but want to understand the key concepts required to apply the Pillar II rules in a reporting and planning context.

The session will begin at 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm. On Thursday, 26 January please plan to join us for a dinner at the end of the session. Below is an outline of the topics that will be discussed:
- Tax accounting basics: Refresh your knowledge of accounting for income tax under IAS 12 and ASC 740.
- GloBE tax accounting considerations: Learn key facets of the GloBE Rules and gain insight into the interaction of these rules common international tax concepts and in a UAE context. These items include inter alia the treatment of stock-based compensation, deferred tax asset recognition, investment income, etc.
- Tax reporting process: Gain insight on what steps are required to revamp your tax reporting process to ensure compatibility with the GloBE Rules. Hear from our experts on what other organizations are doing.
Participation fees and cancellation terms
- The cost of attendance is USD1,500 per person (+ VAT). The indicated price includes participation in the three day workshop series, related training materials as well as refreshments.
- An invoice will be issued before the workshop and our finance team will be in touch.
- As spaces are limited, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply if participation is cancelled within two weeks before the workshop.
