The Social Care Forum 2025

The Social Care Forum, created by the Abu Dhabi Department of Community Development (DCD) in partnership with Deloitte Middle East, was established to address critical gaps in the region’s emerging social care sector. Limited system integrations, workforce shortages, and developing collaboration underscored the need for a shared platform where social care professionals could connect, exchange insights, and shape impactful solutions.

Together with DCD, Deloitte Middle East co-designed and co-delivered a platform to unite leaders, practitioners, and innovators in driving transformation. Now in its second edition, the forum has evolved into a recognized regional and global benchmark, shaping the global discussion on social topics. It will continue to grow in scale and impact, sparking conversations that are shaping the future of the sector.

This year, the 2025 Social Care Forum cemented its position as the region’s leading platform for advancing social care. Over two days, it brought together more than 1,500 participants and 50+ speakers, including UAE ministers, international government officials, excellencies, policymakers, social care workers, academics, entrepreneurs, students, and global experts. This diversity connected the vision of leaders with the voices of those on the ground.

As the sole knowledge partner, Deloitte Middle East co-created the forum agenda, leveraging its global network to bring renowned experts while ensuring that discussions were aligned with UAE’s priorities. Discussions explored the future of social care across people, practice, and policy, including workforce development, the role of data and AI, and innovative ways to better support families, youth, and the elderly. CPD-accredited training, offered as part of the agenda, provided professionals and students with practical tools to apply in their daily work.

The Social Care Forum stands out as a milestone for the region’s social sector transformation, positioning Abu Dhabi and Deloitte Middle East as central voices in the global dialogue on social topics. It underscored the sector’s critical role in advancing community wellbeing while contributing to the global discourse on social development.
