Victor Li is the national managing partner for Tax & Business Advisory Services for Deloitte China. Victor has more than twenty years of experience in providing transfer pricing services, both in China and the U.S., helping multinational clients identify and address issues that arise from the increasingly complex transfer pricing regime.
With his extensive experience, Victor has provided an array of transfer pricing services to multinationals, helping them in transfer pricing planning & documentation, as well as managing transfer pricing risk through transfer pricing controversy negotiation and advance pricing agreement (APA) application. He has helped multinationals in optimizing their business model under the increasing complicated economic environment.
In addition, Victor has served a broad spectrum of multinational clients in the TMT, electronics, office equipment, real estate, pharmaceutical, automotive, trading services and financial industry. Notably, he was involved in China’s first Bilateral Advance Pricing Agreement. He is also experienced in providing assistance in solving transfer pricing controversy.
Victor has been invited to speak at various transfer pricing sessions at conferences sponsored by, among others, the Tax Executives Institute (TEI), Alliance for Tax, Legal and Accounting Seminars (Atlas), United States Council for International Business (USCIB), CCH, PEO Group.
Victor is a member of CICPA as well as a fellow member of CPA Australia. He has earned a PhD in management, a MBA degree as well as a BA in Economics. He was named continuously by Euromoney as the world’s leading Transfer Pricing Advisor in 2013 ~ 2021, and also the world’s leading tax controversy advisor in 2017-2021.
