Rushdi is the Office Managing Partner of Bahrain office and Enterprise Risk Partner, as well as the Business Risk Leader for Tax and Legal at Deloitte Middle East. Rushdi served as the Business Risk Leader for the Risk Advisory Business, the Director of Independence, the Ethics Officer and the Anti-Corruption Leader for several years. He was the audit engagement partner in Bahrain for many external and internal audit engagements since 2008.
Prior to joining Bahrain office, Rushdi worked with Deloitte in Kuwait. He has a strong background in the external audit, governance risk and compliance of financial institutions, consumer industry companies, government entities under International Standards and local regulatory requirements. He also served on many internal control reviews and risk assessment for clients in different industries. Rushdi advises clients on registering and licensing and has good working relations with the local regulatory authorities.
