Mitul is an Indirect Tax Partner with over 16 years of experience advising clients across the Middle East, including 10 years in Qatar and Oman. He supports clients with a broad range of indirect tax matters and has experience across the Energy, Transport, Real Estate, and Family Group sectors.
He specializes in technology-enabled indirect tax transformation and has led several high-profile projects involving VAT implementation and e-invoicing. Mitul works closely with business and systems teams to design and deliver tailored solutions that meet both regulatory and operational requirements. He has also led indirect tax compliance and advisory engagements covering areas such as supply chain optimization, mergers and acquisitions, and tax function optimization.
Mitul is also consulted by governmental bodies on the indirect tax implications of trade agreements. He holds a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Warwick, UK, and is a Chartered Accountant. He currently serves as Treasurer of the British Business Forum in Oman.
