Mohammed is a Director and leads Deloitte’s Middle East Immigration team within their Global Employer Services (GES) practice.
He has over 15 years of experience in the Global Mobility and Immigration space, with expertise and a multifaceted background spanning roles as a mobility/immigration service provider, secondee at client sites within their Mobility function, and as an assignee. Having relocated from London to the Middle East, he has experienced the nuances and intricate challenges that organizations and individuals encounter in the assignee lifecycle.
He has worked on a range of projects and supported some of the largest multinational organizations with formulating immigration & mobility programs for new Talent & Mobility functions, developing strategic workforce and deployment plans for new market entrants in the Middle East, and large-scale expansion projects within the region. He has undertaken immigration risk assessments and impact analyses for organizations undergoing divestitures or M&A transactions.
Mohammed has also successfully managed and executed multiple global immigration programs, both inbound and outbound, across various industry sectors including ER&I, FMCG, Banking, Retail and Automobile.
Additionally, Mohammed frequently speaks at immigration seminars and webinars, roundtable events with clients and industry leaders, discussing topical immigration trends and challenges in the Middle East, such as the region’s Nationalization agenda and expansion of visa categories.
