Luke is a Tax Technologist specializing in VAT governance, compliance, and technology consultancy. He has successfully delivered numerous e-Invoicing and tax automation projects across the Middle East. Before joining Deloitte Middle East, Luke worked as a Tax Technology Specialist at another Big Four firm and at Thomson Reuters.
Luke has managed the implementation of SAP DRC (Document Reporting and Compliance) to meet the e-Invoicing requirements of an international oil and gas entity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), leading the initiative and serving as the PMO lead. As part of Deloitte’s Global e-Invoicing team, he focuses on go-to-market strategies and project delivery. He has project-managed the deployment of a global indirect tax compliance reporting solution across 31 countries, which included automating VAT/GST returns, Intrastat, sales & purchase listings, and digital tax reporting obligations. In this project, he served as both the functional lead and the PMO lead.
