Dr Faisal N. Al Fadhel is a distinguished ex military executive, military researcher and expert in AI and autonomous systems, with 18+ years delivering defence innovation, intelligence, and national level digital transformation across the UK and the Gulf. As Director — Engineering, AI & Data (Government, Public Sector & Defence) at Deloitte, he defines the firm’s AI & Data positioning for defence, architects the UK–KSA AI corridor (secure data enclaves, accredited model assurance regimes, joint R&D clusters and phased commercialisation), and is establishing AI Centres of Excellence for defence and intelligence. He combines a PhD in Robotics & AI with operational leadership of high assurance R&D, military IT modernisation and autonomy assurance, translating advanced technical capability into operational advantage while enforcing stringent security, assurance and ethical controls. He regularly advises senior defence and intelligence leadership on strategy, force level adoption and sovereign capability development.
