Erik Dilger

Managing Director | Risk and Financial Advisory

Erik is a managing director at Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP and leads the Generative AI efforts for the end-to-end M&A business in the US.  He’s been providing innovative solutions to complex problems, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive value in the M&A business for more than 25 years. 

Over the course of his career, Erik has served clients providing consultative services related to digitizing M&A, knowledge management, audit, and forensic & dispute accounting services.  He also has deep knowledge in finance, accounting, and analytics where he has led the strategy and implementation of digital transformation in these areas.  He has been trained in tactical behavior assessment and strategic interviewing methods for purposes of eliciting information during forensic investigations. Erik is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and an alumnus and dean of Deloitte’s Ellen P. Gabriel Fellowship Program, an organization-wide leadership development program. Erik received his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Delaware with minors in German and Economics.

Outside of Deloitte, Erik serves on the Board of the Deutsches Altenheim, an organization focused on providing senior care to elders, is Trustee of Pilgrim Church of Duxbury, and serves on the board of Pilgrim Child Care in Duxbury as well. Erik lives on the south shore of Boston with his wife and 3 children.  He enjoys coaching soccer, traveling, skiing, and boating in Duxbury Bay.
