Doukje is a Partner at Deloitte’s Tax Technology & Consulting practice in the Middle East and has been with Deloitte for over 14 years. Prior to joining Deloitte Middle East, Doukje was working at Deloitte Amsterdam.
Doukje focuses on Tax Transformation and Tax Technology looking at the impacts of tax across People, Processes, Organization and Technology.
On the one hand, she advises companies with their day-to-day tax operations. This ranges from tax automation, e-invoicing, tax governance and tax process enhancements. On the other hand, she leads finance transformations and ERP implementations for Tax. In this respect, she has been a project lead of several ERP implementations, tax technology add-ons, e-invoicing solutions and Finance transformations.
Doukje holds a bachelor and master decree in Tax Law from the University of Groningen and she spent a semester abroad studying in the United States. She is a Dutch chartered tax lawyer.
