Brett Loubert

Principal | Deloitte Space

Brett Loubert is the leader of Deloitte’s U.S. Space practice and holds leadership roles across Deloitte’s Global Space Industry Services.

Brett has more than 25 years of experience working with senior leaders across the defense, national security, and civilian sectors to engineer, modernize, and operate complex IT systems and mission-critical services. He leads the growth and execution of Deloitte’s Space practice, spanning government and commercial clients, and the development of differentiated space-focused offerings.

Under Brett’s leadership, Deloitte launched Deloitte-1, the firm’s first satellite, which serves as a testbed for Silent Shield, an on-orbit cyber intrusion detection capability designed to improve satellite resilience. In this role, he has overseen strategic space market studies and mission delivery efforts for the U.S. Space Force, NASA, state governments, higher education institutions, and global clients. His work spans space commercialization, spaceport development, mission operations, and the downstream use of space-derived data and services across non-space industries.

Brett is also leading Deloitte’s work at the intersection of space and the broader economy, including collaborations with the World Economic Forum, focused on the value of Earth observation data, space-enabled finance, and investment models that translate space capabilities into real-world economic outcomes.

Prior to joining Deloitte, Brett was an engineer and project manager for space systems at a major defense contractor. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland.
