Ambreen is currently an Indirect Tax Senior Manager at Deloitte Middle East, with around 16 years of experience in the field. She has spent a decade in tax consultancy with Big Four firms and has worked for several years in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), focusing on Corporate Tax, Value-Added Tax (VAT), and International Tax.
In the UAE, Ambreen established herself as a VAT specialist, managing various projects during the VAT implementation stage as a Project Manager. She handled tax functions, ensuring compliance with multiple UAE legislations, including VAT, Corporate Tax projects, Economic Substance Regulations (ESR), Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR), Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), and Common Reporting Standard (CRS).
Additionally, Ambreen managed the United Kingdom’s Corporate Tax, VAT, and Transfer Pricing requirements for subsidiaries, showcasing her robust international tax expertise.
