Akbar Ahmad leads our Audit & Assurance business across the Middle East and is a statutory Audit Partner for a number of large and complex clients. With over 25 years of experience, Akbar has held numerous leadership roles including Clients & Industries Leader for the firm which led strategic growth across all business units.
He joined the firm in 2008 as a Financial Services Audit Partner providing Audit, Assurance and Financial Advisory services to clients across key markets including the Middle East and London.
Akbar is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and is a holder of the ICAEW Practicing Certificate. He graduated with a B.Sc. Joint Honors in Accounting and Law from the University of Southampton.
