Ali has over 17 years of experience in risk advisory and internal controls. He is experienced in serving clients across a variety of sectors specializing in Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Mining & Resources, and Manufacturing
Ali services the Energy, resources, & Inustrials industry in the region and has lead numerous ICFR & Internal audit projects for several clients. He also established internal control frameworks and self assessment & certification frameworks for a range of entities and several Giga projects in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Prior to his joining Deloitte, Ali worked in California on several SOx and controls project in addition to his prior experience in external audit.
Ali has also led several ERM and compliance engagements & reviews with a focus on third part contract compliance and operational risks. As part of his experience, Ali also lead the Internal Audit Department for one of Shell’s JVs in Saudi Arabia for several years and has extensive knowledge of the refining business and its operation.
