Gabriel Sfeir joined Deloitte in 2008 before resigning to pursue his MBA in the summer of 2012.

I joined the company as a Consultant in the Strategy & Operations practice and left as Senior Consultant.

I started my Deloitte career in Kuwait before transferring to Beirut office.
 

What have you achieved since you left Deloitte?

Since Leaving Deloitte, I completed my MBA at INSEAD. After my studies, I joined a Leadership program at MetLife Insurance. I am currently a Director for Strategy and Business Development based out of Hong Kong.
 

Are you still in contact with any of your previous colleagues at Deloitte?

I am still in contact with my previous colleagues, some are still working with the firm and others are now Deloitte Alumni.
 

What is your best memory of working at Deloitte? Please provide us with a brief description.

The Friday lunches at the office after being out on the client site for a week or two.
 

What do you miss most about Deloitte, if any?

I would say the people.
 

What one thing do you not miss about Deloitte?

The filling of the timesheet.
 

What is the most important thing you learned from your work at Deloitte?

To manage and prioritize my work, and the importance of managing the stakeholder expectation.
 

What advantage does your experience at Deloitte provide you compared to your colleagues/ connections now?

I would say the ability to adapt to new situations and quickly analyze the problem at hand.
 

If you could give one piece of advice to current Deloitte employee, what would it be?

Not only focus on the project scope and timeline, but take a closer look to the team you are going to work with, because ultimately no matter how challenging or difficult the project was, it is the team around you that will make it a memorable experience.
