Together makes progress


During this past year, Deloitte Middle East collaborated with businesses, governments, and communities to drive progress toward a more equitable, sustainable, and prosperous future.

This past year has taught us all a valuable lesson in perseverance. We have faced economic uncertainties, climate change challenges, and geopolitical conflicts. Yet, through adversity, we’ve learned that resilience is something we can all strive for. Working together as a team and focusing on solutions to our most pressing issues will guide us in the right direction. Ultimately, the power of collective action is immense—it holds the key to innovation, productivity, and meaningful solutions to our greatest challenges.

Business 

This year’s Impact Report reflects on many of Deloitte Middle East’s successful endeavors throughout 2024, which we are incredibly proud of. From fueling growth in the private sector within the region driving business innovation with tax and legal Generative AI, to forming strategic collaborations with reputable partners such as Alsulaiman Group, successfully restructuring the Emirates Hospital Group, and paving the way for profitable sports club privatization, 2024 has been a dynamic and pivotal year. These successes not only highlighted our commitment to encouraging sustainable growth and innovation, but also strengthened our position in shaping the future of industries in the region. As we look ahead, we remain dedicated to creating lasting impact, expanding our partnerships, and continuing to tackle the most pressing challenges with resilience and forward-thinking solutions.

Social 

Over the past year, Deloitte Middle East has steadily demonstrated its commitment to creating a positive impact through a diverse range of transformative programs aimed at empowering the community and supporting future-ready talent. From the Zeytoun Program, which unites efforts to support peace and build hope, to Cyber Heroes, where school students are equipped to deal with the digital world safely, our initiatives have held strong over the year and are helping to shape the next generation. The #iVolunteer Movement is encouraging a culture of community engagement and volunteerism, furthering Deloitte's mission to drive meaningful change. Collectively, these initiatives show Deloitte Middle East's dedication to building a brighter future by empowering individuals and communities with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to thrive.

Environment

Deloitte Middle East recognizes that shaping a better future where progress aligns with the wellbeing of people and the planet requires innovation, collaboration and striving for continuous improvement. Through several initiatives we aim to empower others to contribute to a green economy. This year, Deloitte collaborated with the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) to develop and deliver a green skills training course designed to equip people, including underrepresented groups, with the skills and knowledge they need to prosper in a future driven by sustainability and gain access to fulfilling green career pathways. The acknowledgement of Deloitte Middle East’s CR&S Lead as an SDG Pioneer at the UN Global Compact Leaders' Summit also highlighted our dedication to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals. We firmly believe that true leadership lies in confronting global challenges with purpose and innovation. Sustainability is not a separate agenda – it is the foundation for driving meaningful progress and securing a more resilient future. There are limitless ways we can all make a real difference by acting with intention, investing in solutions that create a shared value for the generations to come, and inspiring others to do the same.
