Gen Zs are the first digital-native generation. Their outlook on life and the way they engage with the world sets them apart from previous generations. 

Our aim for this research was to obtain a deeper understanding of the lives and aspirations of Gen Zs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). We wanted to explore the role of money in their lives, as well as their approach to personal finance.

Understanding this shift is key to understanding how the financial services sector needs to meet the current and future needs of Gen Zs in KSA. 

Objectives: 

  • Understand the life priorities, motivations and values of Gen Zs
  • Explore the key influences on their lives and decision making
  • Understand the way they interact with the digital world 
  • Explore the way Gen Z currently approach and manage personal finances 
  • Establish their uptake of FS products and services
