Privacy notice

This privacy notice (the “Privacy Notice”) explains what personal information (“Personal Data”) Deloitte Tax & Consulting SaRL, having its registered office at 20, Boulevard de Kockelscheuer, L-1821 Luxembourg (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects and processes through this landing page how we use that Personal Data and with whom we share it, when we are acting as a Controller for these data, within the meaning of the GDPR[1]. It also describes your rights in relation to your Personal Data and whom you can contact for more information or queries.

This Privacy Notice supplements the Deloitte Luxembourg[2] Privacy Statement. If anything in this notice differs from, or is more specific than, the Deloitte Luxembourg Privacy Statement, this notice will apply for the processing carried out via this landing page.

When you visit our landing page or interact with our related marketing activities, we may collect and process the following categories of Personal Data:

  • First name, last name, username
  • Address
  • Email address
  • Professional data, such as job title, company name
  • Country
  • Data collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies:
    • IP address (only anonymised for analytics and statistics)
    • Device information
    • Data regarding your interaction with the platform (e.g. clicks, scrolls, time spent one page, number of visits, frequency of visit)
    • Location.

We obtain Personal Data:

  • Directly from you, when you choose to submit information via forms or other contact mechanisms on this landing page.
  • Automatically, via cookies, pixels and similar technologies when you access or interact with the landing page.
  • From third-party platforms, such as LinkedIn, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google, in connection with our online advertising and retargeting activities, in accordance with your settings on those platforms and their privacy notices.

We process your Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To provide access to and maintaining the proper functioning and performance of this landing page
  • To ensure IT and information security (e.g. troubleshooting)
  • To understand how visitor use the landing page
  • To analyse anonymised or aggregated information to improve the content, structure and relevant of this page
  • To measure the performance of our advertising campaign

We use as a legal basis our legitimate interest in operating and securing our digital services and marketing assets and in analysing and improving our marketing activities. We also rely on your consent for analytics cookies and similar technologies, obtained via our cookie banner.

We may also use your Personal Data as necessary to comply with our legal obligations or for the purposes of, or in connection with protecting our rights (such as our intellectual property right) or other user’s rights, mainly in case of complaints and (potential) litigation associated to the use of the landing page.

This page uses cookies, pixels and similar technologies. The tools we use in particular:

  • Google Analytics (analytics cookies): used to collect anonymised statistics on the use of this landing page, such as page views, session duration, navigation paths and aggregated location information. IP addresses are processed in anonymised form.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag (advertising / social media cookie): Enables us to measure conversions, obtain aggregated insights about visitors who reach this landing page from LinkedIn, and build audiences for LinkedIn advertising and retargeting.
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel and trackers (advertising / social media cookies): Enables us to measure conversions from Meta ads, build remarketing audiences and obtain aggregated insights about the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Google Ads remarketing tags (advertising cookies): Used to display Deloitte ads to visitors of this landing page when they browse other websites or use Google services and to measure the performance of our Google Ads campaigns.
  • Strictly necessary cookies that are essential for the functioning and security of the landing page are always active and do not require consent. All analytics and advertising/retargeting tools listed above are activated only if you consent via our cookie banner.

When you first visit this landing page, you will be presented with a cookie banner that allows you to accept/ reject or customise your cookies preferences. Refusing or withdrawing your consent to analytics or advertising cookies will not affect your access to or basic use of this landing page. However, some features (for example, embedded content or personalised advertising) may not function optimally.

We may need to disclose your Personal Data if required by law, a regulator or during legal proceedings.

Furthermore, your Personal Data may be accessed and used by third parties, as follows:

  • Within the Deloitte network: Personal Data may be shared with other Deloitte entities where necessary for internal reporting, business development, marketing coordination, or administration, in accordance with the GDPR and internal policies.
  • Service providers: We engage third-party service providers to support the operation and hosting of this landing page, analytics and advertising activities, including:
    • website hosting and IT services;
    • Google (Analytics, Google Ads);
    • LinkedIn;
    • Meta (Facebook/Instagram).
  • Third-party platforms: When you consent to the use of LinkedIn, Meta or Google advertising/analytics tools on this landing page, these platforms receive certain information about your device and interactions. They may process such personal data for their own purposes as independent controllers, in accordance with their own privacy policies and your settings on those platforms.
  • Legal and regulatory disclosure: We may disclose personal data where required to do so by law, regulation, or court order, or in response to lawful requests from public or regulatory authorities, or in order to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal data.

Adequate safeguards are put in place to protect your Personal Data in case they are transferred outside of the European Economic Area. Such transfers will be performed at all times in compliance with the applicable data protection legislation, in particular the GDPR.

We retain Personal Data collected through this landing page only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Notice, including:

  • The duration of the airport advertising campaign plus [2 years] thereafter to analyse and report on effectiveness;
  • Periods required by applicable laws and regulations (e.g. for record keeping, compliance or audit purposes); and
  • The time limits for establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.

Cookie‑specific retention periods are defined in our consent management platform and in the policies of the relevant third‑party providers (e.g. Google, LinkedIn, Meta).

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data collected through this landing page against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access, in line with our policies and applicable legal requirements.

However, no system or transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should take appropriate steps to protect your own devices and information.
