Making an impact on the global agenda
Deloitte is a long-standing strategic partner of the World Economic Forum (WEF). WEF is an international organisation that connects leaders from business, government, society, and academia to shape global, regional, and industry agendas. Together, WEF and its strategic partners work collaboratively to address issues of global importance and inspire action to improve the state of the world.
Drawing on Deloitte’s experience and capabilities from across our global network, we support WEF’s mission through active leadership in communities and multi-stakeholder initiatives that address pressing global challenges through our purpose-driven framework. These initiatives provide platforms for collaboration—bringing together public and private sector leaders to exchange knowledge, shape the global agenda, and scope tangible project collaborations.
Through year-round engagement, including participation in major WEF convenings such as the Annual Meeting at Davos, Deloitte works with decision-makers and subject matter experts to develop frameworks, ideas, and approaches that respond to an evolving global landscape.
Deloitte leaders from around the globe participated in a variety of discussions with other world leaders with the goal of driving meaningful, measurable, positive change and cooperation in a fragmented world.

As AI adoption accelerates, enterprises face a “velocity paradox”: the need to scale quickly while existing workflows and governance struggle to keep pace. While AI is improving productivity, few organisations are using it to fundamentally reimagine their business. Innovation is now focusing on three areas: agentic, physical, and sovereign AI. Each opens new opportunities while demanding new operating models, governance, and investment.
In today’s dynamic global landscape, business leaders are having to constantly adapt their response to new challenges and opportunities. The need to navigate ongoing short-term disruption while positioning their organisations to capture long-term opportunities means boards and C-suites are revisiting both their strategic priorities, approach to scenario planning, and their ways of working.
Women’s sports are having a big moment. This year alone, the Paris Olympics made history as the first-ever Olympic Games with gender parity among athletes, more viewers showed up and tuned in to the US WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association) than ever before, and revenue projections across women's sports surpassed US$1 billion globally.
Technology has fundamentally transformed the way we collectively work and connect over the last decade—from video calls with our teams and loved ones to digital translation and working remotely, it has never been easier to collaborate seamlessly across geographic boundaries. However, in today’s complex global environment, it is more important than ever for business leaders to create genuine human connections, to listen and learn.
