Marijana joined Deloitte in 2017, and currently serves as a Senior Manager in Risk Advisory for financial sector.
She has a strong track record in legal advising and regulatory analysis for financial firms. In this context, Marijana is heavily focused on capital markets regulations (MiFID, MAR, EMIR, CSDR), helping clients to keep track and stay compliant with these ever-evolving rules.
Her engagements furthermore include cross-border regulatory aspects and assisting financial firms with the distribution of their products throughout the Europe and globally.
Marijana`s core expertise also concerns a rapidly growing space of new technologies (notably AI, blockchain/DLT, digital/crypto assets, tokenization, ICT risk). In this sense, Marijana assist financial firms to comply with respective regulatory obligations, so they can overcome the legal hurdles required to fully tap the potential of new technologies.
Marijana holds a Master of Laws degree from the Faculty of Law in Zagreb, Croatia, and is admitted to the Croatian Bar.
