Maurice Schubert is a Partner within the Digital Risk & Resilience Practice at Deloitte in Luxembourg. Maurice joined Deloitte in February 2018 in Information & Technology risk, where he managed the risk and security for Deloitte Solution (including continuity and recovery measures), the PSF structure of Deloitte Luxembourg. He holds a degree in computer science, internal audit and an MBA from IESE Business School.
With information security as a primary focus, Maurice developed over the years, a large knowledge in information technology and risks as well as Management, primarily for the financial industry. From 2019 to 2023, Maurice also held the position of CIO for Deloitte Luxembourg. Before joining Deloitte, Maurice held various position in information security and management and since completing his first major in computer science, kept performing various projects in Security and penetration testing and red teaming. Clients included large industries, financial, educational and technological sector.
As part of the technology of the firm, Maurice successfully implemented large security programs aiming to improve the resilience and the technological tools of the firm, from the on-premises infrastructure to the multiple clouds used within Deloitte. Secure deployments include M365, Azure Cloud, Druva, Crowdstrike, Cohesity as well as hands on with qRadar.
He also holds a Certified Ethical Hacker (CeH v6), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), Cloud Certified Security Profession (CCSP) as well as Offensive Security Certified Professional(OSCP) certification in information security.
