Marco joined Deloitte as a Director in the AIF Investor Tax group after he has acquired more than 19 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Marco is managing the project aiming to implement the Deloitte Luxembourg AIF Tax Reporting solution and is supporting the related international roll-out to other Deloitte member firms and to clients.
Before Marco joined Deloitte, he has worked almost 6 years for a Fund Management Company as a Business Manager and as Head of the Corporate and Project Management team. As member of the Management Committee Marco reported to the CEO. In this role, Marco was involved in the coordination and implementation of a number of regulatory requirements and in the streamlining of operational and reporting processes.
Prior to that, Marco worked almost 10 years as a Consultant for a Big 4 company and had been involved in numerous projects in the fund industry, supporting management companies, fund administrations, transfer agencies and financial software providers gaining expert knowledge regarding the fund market players, the market best practices and the relevant IT systems.
Marco has gained a broad knowledge regarding regulatory requirements and best practices in the fund industry.
Marco is a German native speaker and speaks English fluently.
