Julien Lamotte joined Deloitte in 2016. He serves as Tax partner in the Financial Services and is bringing his expertise in this market since 2006. He is also leading the Global Employment Services practice focusing more particularly on Reward, remuneration structure, share & management incentive plans and carried interests’ structures.
Julien has a wide international tax expertise in Luxembourg and Paris in supporting financial institutions in the management of their own corporate tax position and the tax position of their investors/clients. He assisted several banks, asset managers and insurance/reinsurance companies on the Luxembourg marketplace on their ongoing tax questions as well as on M&A transactions.
Julien also worked previously in a Magic Circle law firm so that he has a good knowledge of the Luxembourg and international tax practices both from an accounting and legal perspective. He is bringing his expertise in various professional associations in Luxembourg and is a member of the Editorial Board of a Luxembourg tax review.
Julien holds a Master’s Degree in Business Law (DJCE-DESS Droit des Affaires), Paris II Panthéon Assas (France), as well as Luxembourg tax and law diploma. He is fluent in French and English.
