Joachim is Deloitte Luxembourg's Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee.
Before being appointed COO in 2026, Joachim led the Firm’s Indirect Tax Practice for 6 years and was the Tax Business Quality & Risk Leader for 5 years. He was appointed to the Firm’s Executive Committee in 2024 as Partnership Development Leader.
As a tax professional he has a broad experience in advising on the structuring of regulated and unregulated funds across asset classes.
Joachim also has a significant experience in advising clients in the FSI industry on a wide variety of VAT issues including the design of special deduction methodologies, the setup of cost sharing structures as well as VAT dispute resolution.
Joachim is graduated in business law / tax law from Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne & Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas and was a member of the Luxembourg Bar Association prior to joining Deloitte Luxembourg.”
