Christian Van Dartel joined Deloitte over 15 years ago, and currently serves as Partner in Audit & Assurance for the Private Equity and Real Estate Sector.
Christian has extensive experience in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), US GAAP and Lux GAAP. He has also large experience in assisting client in Bond Issuances on several markets. He has gained a deep experience working on a diverse portfolio of audit engagements in Luxembourg and in London and is now working primarily on alternative investment products, including: Debts, Private Equity and Real Estate Funds.
Christian served as People & Purpose Leader for Deloitte Luxembourg until May 31, 2026, having previously held the role of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Leader.
He holds a Master in Management Science and is a qualified Luxembourg Réviseur d’entreprises agréé. He speaks fluently Dutch, English, French and has proficient knowledge of German.
