Bernard joined Deloitte in 1999 and currently serves as Head of Tax for the International Tax Corporate Department.
Bernard has extensive experience implementing and managing tax-efficient international structures, specializing in the areas of global reorganizations, intellectual property migration and management, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Private Equity investments.
He has led a significant number of complex cross-border transactions involving listed corporations and targets. He has implemented group reorganizations in varied industries with substantial foreign jurisdiction considerations. His expertise covers global structuring transactions from inception to implementation and through to exit. He understands the needs of multinational clients in offering proactive support in a dynamic market.
He has extensive experience in assisting U.S. companies to successfully plan, develop and implement tax efficient strategies for their worldwide operations.
