The sustainability event, MOMENTUM, serves as our annual flagship initiative dedicated to exploring the future of sustainability through the lens of evolving regulatory frameworks and emerging challenges. Each year, representatives from client organisations gather for insightful panel discussions led by prominent industry leaders specialised in sustainability.
The fourth edition of MOMENTUM, held in 2025, opened with an inspiring conversation featuring Alexandre Mars, entrepreneur, and founder of blisce/, the Epic Foundation, and INFIИITE. Mars discussed purpose, innovation, and investment, highlighting the importance of aligning business goals with sustainability to drive long-term resilience and impact.
The event continued with a series of expert-led panels covering key topics such as asset management’s role in supporting impact investments and Europe's circular economy ambitions, emphasizing sustainability's essential role in shaping the future. MOMENTUM 2025 encouraged participants not only to analyse progress but provoked debate around direction and purpose. In a moment of reflection, John Psaila, CEO of Deloitte Luxembourg, reminded attendees, leaders, and sceptics alike that: "Movement without meaning is noise. Movement with meaning is impact."
For the fourth consecutive year, MOMENTUM earned the Green Business Event designation, an accolade awarded by the Ministry of the Economy’s General Directorate for Tourism to events meeting stringent eco-responsibility and inclusivity standards. This recognition reinforces Deloitte Luxembourg’s ongoing commitment to reducing its ecological footprint.
MOMENTUM has also become a model for sustainable event design, guiding our approach to future firmwide initiatives. We continue to embed eco-responsibility as a core principle in the way we plan and execute our events, converting our commitment to sustainability into tangible, measurable action.
"The event brought together more than 150 participants to discover how ESG can drive change, innovation, create value, and shape competitive strategies in Luxembourg. We are proud that the expert-led panel discussions addressed the complexities businesses face when balancing sustainable impact alongside economic growth. Once again, we are thankful to our guests, speakers, and to the team behind the ‘Green Events’ initiative in Luxembourg for their continued support in making this event a success.”
