Driving sustainability through collaboration and education

2025 Deloitte Luxembourg Impact Report

At Deloitte Luxembourg, we actively promote collaboration, education, and innovation to advance sustainability across industries and within society. Through initiatives like the Chief Sustainability Officers (CSO) Club, partnerships with entities such as Inspiring More Sustainability (IMS), and educational programs with local universities, we work to empower professionals, businesses, and future leaders to navigate sustainability challenges and drive meaningful change.

CSO Club

Within the CSO Club, we regularly host thematic discussions that bring together CSOs from our partners and client firms. These sessions provide a platform for participants to exchange insights on recent sustainability developments, engage in meaningful dialogue, and gain new perspectives on industry trends.

Sustainability Manager Club: The CSRD capacity building program

Deloitte actively participated in the Sustainability Manager Club dedicated to CSRD- a capacity building program organized by Inspiring More Sustainability (IMS)1. This eight-session program, running from March to November, is designed to clarify new CSRD reporting obligations, facilitate the exchange of best practices in small groups, and support member organisations in preparing for implementation.

As part of this program, Deloitte co-hosts and contributes as a thought leader, sharing our sustainability expertise and offering concrete insights and best-practices to help participants navigate sustainability reporting challenges effectively.

1 IMS is a non-profit organization that has served as Luxembourg's leading network for sustainable development for 18 years.

Preparing tomorrow’s trusted professionals

We believe that supporting sustainability education for the younger generation is key to both, societal and business success. Today’s students are future business leaders, decision makers, and potential changemakers, which makes their engagement and education critical.

Over the past year, we have:

  • Hosted student groups from Luxembourg University, providing workshops facilitated by our Climate FRESK-certified professionals.
  • Visited the Luxembourg School of Business, delivering two 1.5-hour lectures to Financial Accounting and Management students on the importance of sustainability in the work of the financial professionals.
