Maryam Marikkar is a partner in the Audit and Assurance practice of Deloitte Sri Lanka, with over twenty five years of professional experience. She handles a portfolio of clients across multiple industries with focus on telecommunication, manufacture and leisure. She has substantial experience in audit and leads advisory work, including process improvement, transaction due diligence and internal audit for several large listed as well as multinational organizations.
Additionally, Maryam has served in several committees of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka over the years including the Statutory Auditing Standards Committee, the Audit Faculty and the National Conference Committee – Technical. Maryam is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and has an MBA from Sri Jayewardenapura University Sri Lanka.
