Minfaz Hilmy is a partner in the Audit and Assurance practice of Deloitte Sri Lanka. Minfaz has extensive experience in providing external and internal audit services and has gained exposure to international reporting. Minfaz specializes in assisting clients in the convergence of the financial statements to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs). His IFRS experience includes providing accounting gap analysis and implementation guidance to various business concerns. He has exposure in auditing diverse industries such as manufacturing, banking, insurance, finance, transportation, leisure, healthcare, not-for-profit and other service providers.
Additionally Minfaz as served in several committees of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka over the years including the Annual Report Awards Committee, Financial Reporting Standards Implementation & Interpretation Committee and Audit Faculty.
Minfaz is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, Associate member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka and is a passed finalist of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK).
