Mark spent his early career in Scotland before leaving for Almaty to head Deloitte’s regional Financial Services audit group in 2007. Since 2012, Mark has been Managing Partner for the Caspian Region. He works with clients in the banking, insurance and manufacturing sectors and has provided audit services under IFRS, US GAAP and UK GAAP. Mark holds a Degree in Accounting and Marketing and is a Chartered Accountant (Scotland).

Zhangir has more than 15 years’ experience in the audit of financial institutions, advising on the IFRS implementation and capital market transactions. He has built up excellent business relations with a number of Deloitte’s largest banking clients in the Caspian Region, and is also responsible for coordinating the Kazakhstan practice’s accounting and asset quality analysis services for financial institutions.

Olga has more than 20 years of audit experience with Deloitte, providing IFRS audits to some of the region’s leading firms. She graduated from Saint-Petersburg State University and has a PhD in economic science. Olga is a US CPA and serves as the Risk Leader, Audit, Independence and Ethics leader for Deloitte’s Caspian practice. She works with firms in a range of sectors including consumer business, mining, transport, and telecoms. Olga enjoys travel and skiing.

Roman joined Deloitte Caspian Region in 2003 after receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics. He is a Certified Public Accountant (USA), a Qualified Kazakhstan Auditor, and a Board Member of the Kazakhstan Chamber of Auditors. Roman specialises in the Financial Services Sector, auditing a large number of banks, leasing companies and pension funds throughout the region. He enjoys traveling to exotic countries in his spare time.

Daulet has been auditing financial statements prepared in accordance with Kazakh Accounting Standards, IFRS and US GAAP for more 20 years. He is a Kazakhstan qualified auditor and a CPA (USA). He has also been involved in engagements related to transaction services, consulting and ERS. Daulet has a significant experience to assist  companies to perform IPO for London and Thoronto stock exchanges.

Alua heads up the Astana office and has more than 12 years of experience, serving some of Kazakhstan’s biggest companies. She attended Kazakhstan Economic University, is a CPA (New Hampshire), studied Japanese at the ARC Academy in Tokyo, and holds a category one licence as a broker – dealer, from the National Commission on Securities. Alua provides IFRS audit services and IPO advice and assistance to large Kazakh state companies. Alua’s interests are yoga, travel and languages.

Erkin is a US certified public accountant (US CPA) and is a qualified auditor of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He has over 13 years of experience auditing financial institutions and major international corporations in the CIS and the UK. Having worked in the Deloitte London Banking & Capital Markets Group for over two years, where he served a range of leading banks and the UK and U.S. listed companies, Erkin re-joined the Deloitte Caspian region team in May 2014.

Narkes has been working in the audit field for more than 10 years.
