Jong Sung Hong

Jong Sung is the CEO and Country Managing Partner of Deloitte Korea.

Prior to his current role, Jong Sung served as Deloitte Korea's Managing Partner of Financial Advisory, and previously as the leader of the Deloitte Korea M&A practice. With over 30 years of experience in financial advisory and audit services, Jong Sung is a certified public accountant in Korea, specializing in financial due diligence and M&A structuring services.

Jong Sung’s contributions to the profession have been widely recognized. In 2022, he received an award from the Korea Auditors Federation in the field of external auditing for his commitment to fostering a quality-oriented organizational culture and strengthening internal monitoring to uphold Deloitte Korea’s independence. 

Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Jong Sung also serves as a pro bono auditor for Shinhan Group’s nonprofit organization, Shinhan Scholarship Foundation.
