05 September 2019 — Deloitte leads as the most valuable and strongest commercial and professional services brand, in the recently released Brand Finance Commercial Services 50 2019. The firm’s brand value has grown by 42% year-on-year, reaching approximately US$30 billion in 2019.
Commenting on the Report, Deloitte East Africa CEO Joe Eshun noted, “Being named as the most valuable and strongest commercial and professional services brand has been made possible through our people and clients. According to Brand Finance, “Deloitte is the world’s strongest commercial services brand with a Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 91.24 out of 100 and an elite AAA+ brand strength rating. Although marginal, Deloitte is to be commended as the only brand in the Big Four to experience an increase in its brand strength this year. This growth is anchored in its consistent investment, improving equity and solid business performance.”
Deloitte has also been mentioned as the world's fourth strongest brand overall in the Report. This has been attributed to a growing demand for the firm’s business transformation capabilities and digital solutions. Combined with a number of major global client projects across private and public sectors. Deloitte’s consulting segment has also experienced rapid growth.
