Walter has gained solid and extensive experience in general corporate income tax matters, withholding taxes, international tax planning, transfer pricing, group re-structuring, tax optimization schemes, VAT reviews, liaising with Senior Revenue Authority officials and advising clients on the range of tax planning opportunities available within the legislation. He is involved in all aspects of client service delivery for a portfolio of clients that includes Information Communication and Technology (ICT), infrastructure, manufacturing, hospitality, banking and insurance, agricultural, public sector among other clients.
Walter has a Master in Business Administration (Finance Option) and a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Accounting option, honors) from University of Nairobi. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
