Arifa Sheikh is the Chief Risk Officer for Deloitte in East Africa covering Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda. She has led the East Africa Risk, Independence and Legal team over the last 10 years and has both local and international experience having worked in Canada for a number of years.
Arifa has worked with both the public and private sectors in the areas of audit, tax, accounting and risk management. Throughout her over 20 years’ of experience, Arifa has advised a number of key clients in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
Arifa is a Certified Public Accountant and member of CPA Ontario, Canada. She is also a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA, UK).
