David Waweru is a partner in Deloitte East Africa with 16 years of audit experience having joined Deloitte, Kenya in 1999 after graduating from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree. David Waweru is primarily responsible for leading audit engagements as the engagement Partner in both Rwanda and Burundi as well as overall responsibility for administrative functions in both offices.
His client responsibilities include:
- Leadership in client targeting and proposal presentations
- Engagement leadership to ensure quality audits were performed, including developing and maintaining client relationships
- Engagement quality control reviewer on selected engagements in East Africa.
