Daniel Materu

Daniel is a Partner with the Deloitte Africa Consulting practice, responsible for leading the Digital portfolio for the East Africa region.. He has over 15 years experience in digital strategy & architecture, systems enabled transformations, digital economy policy advisory, IT Service Management (ITSM), program management, as well as innovation enablement,. His industry experience includes supporting leading organizations in Financial Services (FS), Energy, Resources & Industrials (ER&I), Public Sector as well as International Development.

Prior to joining Deloitte Africa, Daniel worked with Deloitte Australia where he focused on the ER&I industry. He has a Master of Information Systems Management, and is PMP and TOGAF certified. He has also previously received numerous certifications and training including ITIL, Lean 6 Sigma and Human Centered Design.

Daniel is a Board Member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) Tanzania Chapter. He is also a member of the Association of Enterprise Architects (AEA) and former member of the Australian Computer Society.
