Peter Njenga is a Senior Tax Manager in Deloitte Kenya specializing in Customs, global trade and excise duty matters. He has over 10 years experience providing Customs and excise services to clients both in the public and private sector. He joined Deloitte Kenya from Kenya Revenue Authority where he was a Customs Revenue officer for approximately 5 years.
While in KRA he was directly involved in processing of exemption applications, customs clearance of goods, bonded warehousing and exports. At Deloitte he has worked with various clients offering advisory services on customs clearance procedures, customs valuation, rules of origin, exports; application for exemptions, import permits and security bonds among other areas. He holds a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Moi University and is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya and a member of ICPAK.
