Haruko Nagayama

Haruko joined Deloitte in 1994 as a new graduate and registered as a Japanese certified public accountant. Since then she had been engaged in Japanese GAAP and IFRS audits of the general trading company and various other companies in the manufacturing, consumer business, travel and financial services industries.

Haruko has been the Chair of Deloitte Tohmatsu LLC and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC since July 2022. She is also a member of Deloitte Asia Pacific Board of Directors and the Finance Audit Committee Chair. Prior to her current role, Haruko was a Board member of Deloitte Tohmatsu LLC and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC from August 2022. Before taking on Board roles, she was appointed as the Managing Partner of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC and was in charge of Corporate Planning.

To serve society, she is the Vice Chair of the 30% Club Japan and a member of operating committee for the Red Feather Welfare Foundation of the Japan Community Chest.
