Sharon is an International Tax Partner and Head of Business Tax cluster and Business Process Solutions (BPS) at Deloitte Israel with 20 years of tax expertise. Prior to joining Deloitte, Sharon served as a Tax Director at a global leading corporation and Head of Tax at one the biggest Israeli banks, where she was in charge of all tax aspects, locally and globally.
Sharon's expertise includes deep understanding in taxation of financial institutions and multinational corporations in the technology sector, leading complex tax assessments, handling income tax, profit tax, withholding tax, VAT, tax accounting, tax compliance and other tax matters and structuring global transactions. Sharon has experience in providing tax advice on domestic and international transactions, performing tax due diligence, negotiating with the Tax Authorities and obtaining various approvals and rulings.
Sharon also leads the BPS (Business Process Solutions) team which provides bookkeeping, payroll, controllership and other compliance services to domestic companies and multinationals operating in Israel. Sharon is a CPA and holds a B.A (summa cum laude) in Accounting and Economics and M.A (summa cum laude) in Economics both from Ben Gurion University. Sharon also has a LL.B in Law from Tel Aviv University.
Sharon served as a Lecturer at Ben Gurion University of the Negev and other academic institutes in Undergraduate and Graduate accounting and business administration programs.
